We lost a fine 62-year-old SIR friend Monday the 15th. Dave Allen was admitted to Kaiser Hospital where he died of a fatal stroke.

Dave was very active in SIR 102.  Upon retiring in 2002 he immediately joined us and became available to help.  He was the current Executive Board Asst. Treasurer as well as the Secretary of our Golf Club. He especially enjoyed receiving the Blue Jacket at our 2006 Carson City tournament.

Dave served two combat tours in Viet Nam with the Sea Bees. He retired from PG&E as a Supervising Engineer in their Gas Division. He was a very active outdoors man  who loved to hunt,  bass fish and play golf.  He was sponsored by Don Braatz.  Our sympathies are with his wife Sally and her family at this time. A Celebration of Life will be made later.

Big SIR Bob Lamora
