Thirty SIRs 102 members enjoyed the snow train trip to the Silver Legacy in Reno on 6-7 March.

We left the Elks parking lot at 10am and returned at 5pm the next day.

We enjoyed the beautiful snow scenery over Donner Summit with snow covered Pines, lakes and streams like the Truckee River.

A good time was had by all on the Amtrak train ride with snacks, beverages, music and conversation.

The SIR bloody Mary's were a popular hit and before you knew it we arrived in Reno.

The Silver Legacy casino rooms were comfortable and the El Dorado and Circu Circus Casinos offered recreation for winners and losers.

Players won at Blackjack, Slots, Craps and Roulette, however the club was the big winner in the end.

We all overate as usual on Prime Rib and Steaks. The buffet offered a variety of cousine, Chinese, Asian, Italian, Cajun, Mexican, and Sea food, with delectable drinks and desserts.

The fun ended all to soon as we had to catch the All West Coach for a scenic ride home.

Everyone looks forward to the next Reno Snow Train Trip on Amtrak.
